Jonatan Berhane

Head Coach

  • Native of Stockholm, Sweden

  • Received his undergraduate degree from Lewis Clark State College (LCSC)

  • Received his Master Degrees from East Tennessee State University & University of Phoenix

  • Fun fact: Speaks Swedish, English and Tigrinya.

  • 13 years of coaching experience

  • Native of Blanes, Spain

  • Graduated from The University of Alabama with a double major in Finance & Marketing, and earned her MBA in Business Analytics.

  • Joined the Alabama Women's Tennis Coaching Staff on July 2023.

  • Alba speaks 3 languages: English, Spanish & Catalan.

  • Played for the Alabama Women's Tennis Team from Fall 2017 to Spring 2021.

Keith Swindoll

Volunteer Assistant Coach

  • Volunteer Assistant Coach for the University of Alabama Women's tennis team 2000-2005 and 2015 to present.

  • Director of Tennis at the Indian Hills Country Club since 1987.

  • He is a former No. 1 player in the men's 30-and-over division in Alabama, and a six-time Alabama Tennis Professional of the Year.

  • Inducted into the Alabama Tennis Hall of Fame in Feb. 2013, Swindoll was recently named the Alan Henry USPTA Southern Professional of the Year.

  • 2020 USPTA Southern College Coach & 2021 Southern Teaching Professional of the Year.

  • Swindoll is a United States Professional Tennis Association Master Professional, an honor that fewer than 1 percent of tennis professionals worldwide achieve. 

    • Additional Certifications: ITPA Certified Performance Trainer, and IATP Certified as a Mental Game Coach.​
